WEB DESIGN INTERN

The intern will work with two designers maintaining existing sites and assisting with the creation of new projects. The intern will be exposed to a "creative bullpen" atmosphere as part of the design team. The intern will be expected to complete minor modifications, resizing of banner ads, provide general support for the designers, and contribute to specials projects, as needed.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent attention to details. Basic web design experience is required.

Skill Requirements:

• Junior, Senior, or Graduate CIS majors
• Background in web design
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Java
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to organize and manage several projects concurrently
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and work well with others

Additional Information:

• 15-20 hours per week / flexible schedule
• $8/ Academic credit optional
