Ron oversees Digital Pulp's day-to-day operations as well as new business, finance and strategic partnerships. Ron spent the majority of his 20-year career as Executive Vice President, General Manager at Warwick Baker O'Neill, a New York-based integrated communications agency, where Fierman played a key role in managing the business activities of the agency.
Fierman's advertising career began in Chicago where the Leo Burnett Company was his client. Determined from that experience to join the ad industry, he soon shifted to Don Tennant Advertising, Chicago. Ron's ad background also includes stints as chairman of the 4As NY Regional Council and president of the Ad Club of NY. Ron graduated from Miami University in Ohio and received an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago.
Before falling madly in love with technology, Gene was an English major at Vassar College. His love for words took a back seat to his fascination with all things digital – and what began as a hobby later became a vocation.
Gene's expertise in, and passion for technology led him to consult as a Network Architect and Systems Analyst in the early years of his career. During his tenure as an independent consultant, Gene founded a regional user group, which grew quickly and became a powerful resource for more than 1,000 members. He joined Digital Pulp at its inception in the fall of 1996.
As a partner Gene has been deeply involved with technology strategy and implementation, internal systems infrastructure analysis, and building and launching sites for some of the world's most successful companies and organizations. Recognized as one of the leaders in our industry, Gene is often quoted in industry publications and asked to speak or serve on panels on a variety of topics. While Gene helps to marry technical and creative forces in the online world he also finds time to contribute to such offline publications as Madison, Esquire and Interview magazine. Sarah’s expertise in content development, information architecture, and website development, helps bring a well-honed critical eye to her work. Before joining Digital Pulp, Sarah was a Producer at Ogilvy Interactive, the interactive arm of Ogilvy & Mather.
With over ten years at Digital Pulp, Sarah is seasoned in all aspects of website development and leads our team of producers, designers and developers, from the IA phase through the development process. Working closely with the client, Sarah creates strategies that are compelling and meet both the business objectives and the customer expectations. Always keeping the user in mind, Sarah looks for innovative ways to communicate your message online more effectively.
During her stint at Ogilvy Interactive, Sarah was responsible for website and Internet advertising production on the IBM account. Sarah earned her B.F.A. in Film and Television from the highly acclaimed Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
